John Frederick-Drums
I was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. At
an early age, I saw The Beatles on the Ed
Sullivan Show, and my career path became
evident. As a kid I listened to anything and
everything, and got started at age 6 with a
decade of Piano lessons.  I began playing
Drums at 21 years old.  Since then, I've
been fortunate enought to work with a lot or
really talented people, playing many pop
styles. I've always considered myself a
'Rock' player, listening mainly to Simon
Kirke, John Bonham, Ringo, Ian Paice, and
Lee Kerslake, among others. I've realized
over the last few years that I enjoy playing
Country music the best.
Listening to  Country players like Tommy Harden, Rich Redmond, Buddy Harman, and David
Parks has really expanded my horizons.Playing with Blue River Bandis and has been a wonderful
opportunity, this band is like a family, and our fans are the greatest.  BRB's collective future looks
bright, and I can't wait to see what it brings.
