I was born and raised right here in Indianapolis and
I grew up listening to country music. My dad
played guitar in a few bands around town and
hoping I could join him, I started banging on my
moms pots and pans when I was 7 and got my
first drum set when I was 9 years old. I actually
tried my hand at guitar when I was 13 but quickly
thought better of it, put the guitar down and went
back to the drums. I have played with a number of
different bands in the Indiana area and had a blast
with all of them. Some of my influences were Phil
Collins, Neal Pert, Mike Palmer and Peter Criss, to
name a few. I met my true love, Bev in 2009 and
we recently got married and suddenly there are 4 kids and 7 grand-kids running
around the house, never a dull moment. I started playing with Blue River around
August 2009 and its been just great. I'm learning a lot and having a great time
doing it. I realize that I haven't only joined a band, but with the other members
and fans, I have joined a family!!
